HKU Academic Exchange Funding Programme
Incoming visit from Mainland & Taiwan
This programme is intended for members of academic staff in universities or comparable institutions in Mainland and Taiwan to visit teaching departments / centres / units at The University of Hong Kong for academic exchange purposes.
​Application
Completed application form, with the endorsement by the Department / Office Head at HKU, should be submitted to the Mainland Affairs Office at 9/F, Knowles Building, before the deadlines listed below.
Duration
The visit should normally be within 7 days, with a cap at 14 days.
Application Timeline
Applications will be reviewed four times a year, with each review occurring every three months. The cut-off dates for the four batches of applications are as follows:
March 1, June 1, September 1 and December 1

Remark: The original copy of application documents should be delivered to the Mainland Affairs Office at 9/F Knowles Building within two working days after the deadline of each application round. Late submissions and retrospective applications will not be considered.
