incoming visit from Mainland China & taiwan

This programme is intended for members of academic staff in universities or comparable institutions in Mainland China and Taiwan to visit teaching departments / centres / units at The University of Hong Kong for academic exchange purposes.

Application

Application form, completed by the Department Head at HKU, should be submitted to the Mainland Affairs Office at 9/F, Knowles Building, before anyone of the deadlines listed below.

Duration

The visit should normally be within 7 days, with a cap at 14 days. 

Deadline

Applications will be reviewed every three months, with the following annual cut-off dates for different batches of applications:

March 1, June 1, September 1, and December 1

* Note: The true copy of application materials should reach the Mainland Affairs Office at 9/F, Knowles Building within two working days after the deadline of each round. Retrospective applications will not be considered.
